This 1989 docudrama about the life of Karen Carpenter stars Cynthia Gibb as the singer and Mitchell Anderson as her brother Richard. Karen’s death serve to publicize the dangers of anorexia nervosa and bulimia. The screening is part of  the Carpenters 55th Anniversary celebration in Downey.
