This memorial golf tournament was established by GOOD (Gangs Out Of Downey) in 2015 after the tragic murder of respected Downey Officer Ricky Galvez. The talented and charismatic violinist Strauss Shi returns again, this time to perform Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major. Music Director Sharon Lavery is pleased to announce the new policy of free evening concerts. Doors open at 5:30 for the preconcert art exhibit on the mezzanine.
Join the Downey Chamber at its annual anniversary gala, hosted this year by LOOK Dine-In Cinemas. Check-in and networking begin at 5:30 pm, followed by the program at 6 pm and a movie at 7 pm.
