It’s back again! This year’s Beyond the Book will transform the library into a hub of creativity, innovation, and hands-on discovery. Visitors of all ages will have the chance to explore, create, and share their talents through interactive activities that spark curiosity and inspire learning.
The celebration will also feature food and live music, adding flavor and rhythm to an already vibrant experience.

An inaugural community event featuring Southern California student mariachi groups (6th grade through college) coming together to perform for their community.
The student ensembles will each receive feedback and coaching from Mariachi industry experts following their performances. Then the top student group will perform with Lupita as a grand finale! The event provides a music experience for the community while creating an enriching experience for participating students.
